Two jacks allow in line testing without service interruption, and its simple push button operation checks polarity and power. Test conacts are perforated to provide sure grip for alligator clips or use of probes, and reduces the chance of shortening adjacent alligator clips due to its unique shape.
The TurTEL 6 has an internal circuit to allow testing of polarity for either of two lines (pairs 4 to 5 or 3 to 6)-circuit allows verification of power and phone number assignments.
